Its mission is to develop, coordinate and advance accounting profession in the region, encompassing both the public and private sectors and all facets of the accountancy profession. CAPA stages a flagship Conference every four years, providing an opportunity for international speakers and delegates to share knowledge, and in 2015 it is hosted by KICPA.

As a committed member of CAPA, KICPA shares the regional, global accounting community's mission of contributing to evolving into a relevant and respected PAO, trusted and valued by governments and businesses, in addition to the adoption and implementation of high-quality standards and guidance and speaking out on the public interest, thereby resulting in the development of sustainable, sound financial markets and economies.

CAPA Seoul 2015
The 19th CAPA Conference will be held at the Coex World Trade Center in Seoul, Korea from 27-29 October, 2015. Themed "Asian Accountants – Leading the way, inspiring the future," the conference program will feature a mix of informational and stimulating plenary and concurrent sessions exploring various areas of the accountancy profession.

The world economy continues to move towards Asia. The global accountancy profession needs to recognize this trend and its implications. Asian accountants, whether in the private or public sectors, in business or professional firms, in financial or management accounting, have an opportunity to shape the future for governments and businesses. Asian accountants need to be aware of contemporary and emerging issues, lead the push towards high quality governance, business performance and reporting, and establish standards and approaches to be envied by others.
