Washrooms

Located in Sherwood Park Arena/Sports Centre, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Festival Place, Community Centre and on either side of the Firehall. 

Port-a-potties are located on the west and east end of the Salisbury Composite High School Fields and in the Kinsmen Leisure Centre parking lot.


Free Park and Ride provided by Strathcona County Transit

There will be limited parking available on site - why not try busing it to Broadmoor!

Departures start at 8:30 a.m. from the Sherwood Park Transit Centre on Ordze Road, operating every 15 minutes.

 

Returns start at 8:45 a.m. from in front of Festival Place every 15 minutes. Last bus leaves Festival Place at 11:45 p.m.

 

*During the parade, from 10 - 11 a.m., bus service will be moved from Festival Place to Oak Street, in front of the Recreation Administration Office*


Information Booths/Ticket Booths

Located throughout the festival site. At the front doors of the Community Centre (inside), Festival Place (outside), on the Broadmoor Lake Plaza, Salisbury Composite High School Field and beside the Kinsmen Leisure Centre (east of the front doors).

Wristbands and Tickets

Although the majority of activities and performances are free, there are a few exceptions. In order to maintain the high level of quality of services and activities provided to the Festival, the cost of the rides goes back to the festival to pay for itself. We also have many dedicated sponsors who help cover the cost of the activities and services. 

Wristbands can be purchased for $5 in advance from Sherwood Park Mall, Recreation Administration Office, Kinsmen Leisure Centre, Millennium Place, Glen Allan Recreation Complex and Festival Place. Wristbands cannot be purchased at the event. Tickets are available the day of the event for $1/ticket. 

Tickets are available to purchase at the info/ticket booths.

Every child/person participating needs a wristband/ticket for the following rides:

  • Eurobungee (30-250 lbs)
  • Laser Tag
  • Pony Rides
  • Remote Control Race Cars
  • Remote Control Moster Trucks
  • Segways (must be over 14 years of age)
  • Zipline (must be over 45" tall, max 225lbs)
  • Henna Tatoos
  • Rat Race Inflatable
  • Simulator
  • Canoe Rides, must get a timed ticket (children under two need a paid ticket as they are counted in the maximum number of people allowed in the canoe). Children must also be able to fit into the baby life jacket.
  • Wagon Rides, Children under two do not need a ticket, however they must be sitting on their parents/guardians lap.


Lost Child Station 
To ensure you and your family have a safe and fun experience, remember to visit the S.A.F.E.Tent on Broadmoor Lake Plaza to receive your free child wristband, which you can write your cell phone number. Should you be separated from your child, your child will be escorted directly to the lost child station and you will be contacted. The S.A.F.E.Tent is located on Broadmoor Lake Plaza from 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. and is operated by Citizens on Patrol. 


Medical Services 
The Kinsmen Leisure Centre lifeguards are on duty from 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. Should you or someone in your group require first aid please go to the nearest information booth or the Kinsmen Leisure Centre or contact any volunteer. Please remember to bring your sunscreen, hat and drink plenty of water on a hot day.

Family Seating Areas

Picnic tables are located in the Broadmoor Lake Plaza, RE/MAX Field and out of the sun in the Sherwood Park Arena Sports Centre.
